While a graduate assistant at WTAMU, I was offered to assist the Dean in teaching Research Methods within this Course. This is a course that I assisted with for both years within my MA degree (it is offerred every spring).
This course is designed to teach students a varaity of research methods. Methods were taught from the basics of ethographic methods, to conducting interviews and focus groups, to survey design.
My role within this course was to be the point person for the student's group projects. I met with each group multiple times to discuss their research idea and the method(s) that they are planning to use to best answer their research questions. Addtionally, I was able to teach a few lectures.
